Carolyn Olsburgh’s practice focuses on employment matters, corporate and commercial law, and cultural property law (art law). Carolyn is experienced in Swiss and international corporate matters, corporate finance and capital markets, Swiss intellectual property matters and commercial arbitration and litigation.
Carolyn’s pragmatic approach to legal disputes led to a successful career at Nestlé where she created and headed the Employment and Labor Law hub which provides legal support to Nestlé’s human resources at the headquarters and in research and product technology centers. In addition to managing complex litigation, Carolyn advised on Swiss and global initiatives and policies. She served as a substitute Board Member of the multinational’s Pension Fund and assisted the Chief Legal Officer on important matters. Carolyn was also a member of Nestlé’s Legal Leadership Team. As Senior Legal Counsel to the Asia-Oceania-Africa region, she provided support on employment, labor and union-related issues.
Prior to joining Nestlé, Carolyn worked for seven years in leading Geneva law firms, as well as in the United Kingdom, on matters concerning art law (including art foundations, transfers of title, and art looted during WWII), intellectual property, and commercial arbitration and litigation.
