Promotion of Marta Ledwos to Partner

We are pleased to announce that Marta Ledwos has been promoted to Partner at Appleton Luff International Lawyers. This decision was made during our annual Partners' meeting on October 10th and 11th in Paris.

After nearly 15 years of collaboration with David Luff and the Brussels office, Marta has consistently demonstrated dedication and skill, significantly contributing to the success of our firm. This promotion reflects her hard work and commitment to our clients and team.

Marta leads the Appleton Luff Paris office, which specializes in all aspects of international and European trade and regulatory law. The office provides tailored advice to the private sector, governments, international organizations, and associations. It also focuses on the intersection of trade, the environment, and climate change, with particular attention to evolving regulations like the EU’s Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM).

The Paris office also assists foreign companies seeking to enter the French market.

In addition, Marta and her team represent clients before the European and French courts, ensuring their interests are rigorously defended in complex legal matters.

The Paris office has recently launched the SIGMA project to support French innovative SMEs—primarily in the field of environmental protection, but not limited to—by facilitating their access to the US market through technology licensing.
